Terms & Conditions

By booking a service with Ultimate Detailing Rockhampton, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms also govern your use of our website.

Bookings, Cancellations & No-Shows

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for your vehicle. Late cancellations and no-shows can leave appointment times that cannot reasonably be filled.

Booking Deposit

A booking deposit may be required to secure your appointment.

All booking deposits are non-refundable, except where otherwise required by Australian Consumer Law. Where an eligible booking is rescheduled, the deposit may be transferred to the new appointment.

More Than 48 Hours’ Notice

Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice without a late cancellation fee. Your deposit remains non-refundable but may be transferred to a new appointment.

Less Than 48 Hours’ Notice

Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours of your appointment may incur a fee of 50% of the booked service price.

No-Shows

If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without providing reasonable prior notice, a no-show fee of up to 100% of the booked service price may apply. This reflects the appointment time reserved exclusively for your vehicle and the resulting loss of the opportunity to accept other work during that period.

Rebooking

Where a deposit is transferred following cancellation or rescheduling, the new appointment must be rebooked and completed within one calendar month of the original appointment, unless otherwise agreed. Failure to rebook within this period may result in the deposit being forfeited.

Repeated cancellations or no-shows may require full payment in advance for future bookings or may result in future bookings being declined.

Vehicle Inspection & Pricing

Vehicles may need to be inspected before a booking is confirmed so we can assess the condition of the vehicle and provide more accurate pricing. Advertised and online prices may be starting prices.

Final pricing can vary depending on vehicle size, condition, paint condition, contamination, existing damage, previous repairs and the amount of preparation or correction required. If additional work is identified, we will discuss any significant change in price with you before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.

Vehicle Preparation

For all services, customers are required to remove personal belongings, valuables and rubbish from the vehicle before the booking. Excessive rubbish or belongings that interfere with the service may result in additional charges or the appointment being rescheduled.

Ultimate Detailing Rockhampton is not responsible for personal belongings left inside the vehicle, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

Existing Damage & Vehicle Condition

Please advise us of any known damage, previous paint repairs, ceramic coatings, PPF, vinyl wraps, damaged trim, loose components or other issues that may affect the service. Vehicles may be photographed and inspected before work begins to document their condition.

We are not responsible for pre-existing defects or deterioration, including scratches, stone chips, failing clear coat, damaged plastics, poor previous repairs or deteriorated materials, except where loss or damage is caused by us or responsibility otherwise cannot legally be excluded.

Paint Correction

Paint correction and polishing are designed to improve the condition and appearance of the paint, but complete removal of every scratch or defect cannot be guaranteed. Some defects may be too deep to safely remove. We will not intentionally continue correcting an area where we reasonably believe further correction could compromise the integrity of the paintwork.

Ceramic Coatings & Protection

The performance and durability of ceramic coatings and other protective products depend on correct maintenance and vehicle use. Factors including washing methods, chemicals, environmental contamination, storage conditions and maintenance can affect performance.

Manufacturer warranty periods and durability claims are subject to the relevant manufacturer’s terms, conditions and maintenance requirements. Customers must follow the aftercare instructions provided by Ultimate Detailing Rockhampton.

Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance for your service is payable upon completion or collection of the vehicle. Any cancellation or no-show fees that properly apply under these Terms & Conditions may be invoiced to the customer. Outstanding accounts may need to be paid before another appointment is accepted.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive at the agreed time. Significant lateness may reduce the amount of work that can be completed or require the appointment to be rescheduled. Where the delay means the allocated appointment can no longer reasonably be completed, the applicable cancellation policy may apply.

Photos & Marketing

We may photograph or record vehicles before, during and after services for documentation, quality control and marketing. Personal information and identifying details will be handled appropriately. If you do not want your vehicle used for marketing purposes, please advise us.

Service Concerns

If you have a concern with a completed service, please contact Ultimate Detailing Rockhampton as soon as reasonably possible. We may request that the vehicle be returned so we can inspect the concern and determine the appropriate solution.

Acceptance of Booking Terms

By confirming a booking with Ultimate Detailing Rockhampton, you acknowledge that you have been provided with or given reasonable access to these Terms & Conditions and agree to them. For online bookings, customers should read and accept these Terms & Conditions before completing their booking.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

By accessing this website, you accept these Terms & Conditions. Unless otherwise stated, Ultimate Detailing and its licensors own the intellectual property rights in website material. You may view or print pages for personal use, but you must not republish, sell, rent, sub-license, reproduce, duplicate or redistribute our content without permission.
